All plants are express posted at a flat rate of $15. Orders over $99.99 will be eligible for free express postage!

I aim to ship orders early in the week (usually Monday or Tuesday) so that they do not get stuck over the weekend. Please keep this in mind when placing orders.

Plants will be shipped in hydroponic medium (LECA, perlite, fluvial stratum or PON), and securely packaged using recycled (or reused) materials.

What care requirements do the plants have?

If you're unsure or new to the Alocasia genus, my suggestion is to add the free care leaflet to your cart, which has a great and easy breakdown on how to take care of your new plant!

Alocasia are typically one of the more difficult genus of aroids to look after, however, they can be quite resilient and even thrive under the right conditions. They like high humidity, around 4000lux light intensity (use the Photone light metre app if you don’t have a light metre!), and (in semi hydro) a reservoir of water about 1/3 of the height of their container. They dislike pests and cold weather.

What medium will the plants be potted in?

Plants will be shipped in hydroponic medium (LECA, perlite, fluvial stratum or PON). They can be easily repotted into soil, however, I'd encourage you to check out my Instagram (@alocasias.australia) and see the benefits of growing in semi hydroponic mediums!

Do you ship to quarantine states?
